Healthcare workers encounter many risks within their scope of practice. This course provides allied health professionals with comprehensive knowledge of occupational safety and security. Students will learn skills to help them identify and mitigate workplace hazards, protect themselves from occupational risks, and ensure a safe environment that promotes quality care and reduces employer costs and liability.
